Jan Yatsko’s paintings tell a story about the daily life in Costa Rica. All of her paintings are 15” X 20” created on professional quality watercolor paper. Jan’s painting style is to create layers of color using an acrylic wash and various mixed media techniques. Drawings from sacred Guayami shaman journals, stamped images from ancient Costa Rican jade, gold and ceramic art and painted replicas of mango leaves collaged onto the paintings create interest, value and her personal trademark. The paintings are sealed with a flexible matte varnish. Prices do not include frame or shipping. Contact Jan to arrange payment by credit card through PayPal.
All painting design rights are reserved by Jan Yatsko and cannot be duplicated or used without her consent.

“Bottom’s Up” is a series of playful paintings I created in tribute to my husband’s summer crop of heirloom tomatoes. Each 8”X8” painting is one-of-a-kind using a combination of acrylic washes, mixed media, image transfers and/or collage on professional watercolor paper. The paintings are ready to hang, complete with a 12”X12” natural-colored wood frame and white mat. All paintings are priced at $175 and does not include shipping. Sales of these paintings are being handled in the USA by www.veleska.com I had just as much pleasure creating these paintings as I did eating the actual heirloom tomatoes in a salad with olives, fresh basil, feta cheese and olive oil. Yum!
