Brief class outline: This two hour workshop is a mini version of the art workshops held during Jan’s Explore & Create in Costa Rica tour.  During her ll+ years in Costa Rica and 8+ years as a tour guide, Jan has developed a unique way for participants to interact, learn about and capture their travel experiences.  She will guide you through her fool proof art journal workshop method that will allow you to interact with Costa Rican nature while you learn about this country’s culture, art and symbols. You will discover how to observe Costa Rica through your five senses and heighten your skills through fun creativity exercises. What you have learned in the workshop will not stop at the end of the class. This method can be applied to future projects at home and other travel destinations.

Who can participate: Incentive travel groups, bird watching travel groups, participants at yoga and spa retreats and any type of educational travel groups held throughout Costa Rica.  Also, families (ages 9 to 99) and individuals staying at hotels within 1.5 hours of Atenas, Costa Rica.  The class will be held at your hotel or location of choice.

Cost: The cost varies depending on the size of the group and where the class will be held. Classes can also be tailored to specific time frames, ages, abilities and interests. All art materials are included in the cost of the class. Contact Jan by email and state your interest, including where you will be staying and how many people will be participating. Please include a phone number and your time zone.

Don’t forget to frame your original postcard to keep as a special souvenir and copy a bunch to send to family and friends!
